Andrew Coley

Director and Tutor

Andrew started teaching first aid and lifesaving courses in 2012 and tutored for several years before training as a Primary School Teacher. He now teaches in a school in South East London and, alongside teaching children, he has been tutoring first aid and lifesaving courses again since 2023.

Before becoming a primary school teacher, Andrew volunteered as a London Ambulance Service Emergency Responder. This provided him with much experience in being the first person on scene to 999 calls. Andrew has developed his tutoring of first aid and lifesaving courses having gained this hands-on experience.

Andrew's experience in the education world has also enabled his to refine the tutor skills used when tutoring. He has a BA (Hons) in Primary Education from the University of Roehampton, and a MEd in Mathematics Education from the University of Cambridge.

Andrew most enjoys seeing children and adults learn valuable skills and seeing learners' confidence in emergency scenarios improve.
