First Aid Heroes
Children's First Aid Club
Fun, Practical, and Life-Saving Skills for Young People
At First Aid Point, we believe that children can be heroes too. Our specially designed children’s first aid classes give young people the confidence and skills to help in an emergency — all taught in a fun, age-appropriate way.
Who Are the Classes For?
Ages 7–14
No prior knowledge needed — just curiosity and a willingness to learn!
How the Classes Work
Hour-long weekend sessions
Held at safe, child-friendly venues
Small groups for plenty of hands-on practice
Delivered by qualified, experienced first aid instructors
We run approximately six-week blocks of classes so children can build skills over time. Each session is interactive, with role-play, games, and practical scenarios.
Each level of the class will develop from the previous one, meaning that anyone attending over a period of time will develop their knowledge, skills and understanding.
What Children Will Learn
How to call 999/112 and talk to the emergency services
The recovery position
How to help someone who is choking
Basic wound care & bandaging
Staying calm and keeping safe in an emergency
AND MUCH MORE!
Every child receives a certificate and badge at the end of the course to celebrate their achievement.
